Cigarette manufacturing is a fast-paced, highly automated process. Our machine can produce up to 12,000 cigarettes every minute.
The process begins by creating one long tobacco rod. To produce the rod, a spool of cigarette paper is unrolled (each bobbin is up to 6,000 meters long) and a line of tobacco is placed on it matching with linear speed of cigarette paper. The cigarette paper is then wrapped around the tobacco, forming the Tobacco rod.
Machines slice the super-sized rod into predermined shorter pieces which decide tobacco rod length of a cigarette. In filter assembly unit, filters are inserted in between tobacco rods . The filters are then connected to tobacco rod with 'tipping paper'-the paper consumers see wrapped around the filter tip of a cigarette. Each assembly is then cut in half, producing two filtered cigarettes. Every cigarette is checked at three different stages for the quality of its construction for physical parameters including ventilations.
